Introducing Our Upcoming Project: Savior of the Night
The story takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the 18th century during the Western Days and travels through time. The story follows a man named Luke, who is down on his luck and is a thief and a criminal known to the town simply as "Bum." No one knows where he came from, or who his family is, or if he was abandoned.
One night, while Luke is in the town's bar, he gets into an altercation with a man he owes money to. It gets ugly, eventually leading to Luke's death. Dead and dropped off in an alley somewhere.
He awakes in heaven and is greeted by a prophet of God. The prophet Elijah informs Luke that God has given him a second chance to change his life for the better. Luke, in disbelief and wondering why God would even want anything to do with him — seeing he is not a religious man and didn’t even think God existed — listens as Elijah tells him he will be given powers to fend off demons who are trying to take over the world alongside Satan, who they are trying to release from his chains.
Can Luke change his fate and doubt about himself and become the person God intends, or will he fail?
